Sunda's Meat Loaf

(Out of Sunda's head by guess and by golly recipe!!)

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage (sometimes I use one pound)
1 egg
About 20-25 soda crackers mashed up with your hands
A little onion, diced.  I usually use dry onions because they are easier to work with
About 1/2 teaspoon sage
A little garlic salt

Mix thoroughly adding a little milk to make the whole thing stick together.  If you get it too wet, just add more soda crackers.  Form into a loaf and put in a bread loaf pan.  Spread 1 can of tomato sauce over the whole thing and back it at 350 for about an hour.  Check about 45 minutes to see if it is done.  It is done when it pulls away from the sides of the pan.
