Sunda's Corn Meal Rolls

1/3 cup corn meal
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup melted shortening
2 cups milk

Mix together. Cook in double boiler until thick. Stir occasionally. Cool to lukewarm. Add 2 beaten eggs, 1 package yeast mixed in 1/4 cup warm water. Beat well. Add 4 cups flour.

Rise as long as you want it to. Roll out and brush with butter. Form rolls and rise again. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
