Beef Stroganoff

From Sunda


1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms sliced
1 large onion chopped
1/4 cup butter
2 lbs. round steak
1 teaspoon salt
2 can beef bullion (needs to make two cups)
1 cup sour cream

Saute mushrooms and onions in 2 T butter and remove from pan. 

Remove fat and bone from steak. Cut into strips 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. 

Melt additional 2 T butter in pan. 

Put strips of meat in flour to give them a good coating. 

Brown meat in butter. Simmer stirring occasionally till meat is tender (about 1 1/4 hour). 

Add mushrooms, onions and sour cream and heat. 

Serve over noodles or rice.
