(My mother came across this recipe in Moses Lake, Washington in the 50's from a newspaper)
2 large chopped onions
2 chopped green peppers
2 chopped garlic leaves
1 large can of tomatoes
1 pound of leaf ground beef
1 (8 oz) can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cook first three until brown. Then brown and cook the meat. Stir in the rest. Put into a two quart pan. Cook at 350 with cover for one hour and then for 15 minutes with cover off.
