Lemon Cream

Mix 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, some salt, 3/4 cup water, and blend into 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1 slightly beaten egg.

Heat quickly to boiling. Stirring constantly, cook about one minute. Cover.

Cool to room temperature.

Then fold in 1/2 cup whipped cream and 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel. Chill.

Serve on cake or whatever sounds good.
